Living Soils Farm is the vendor of the week for June 13th.
Living Soils Farm has been growing veggies year round for the past 6 years and has been an active vendor at both our summer and Winter markets. They grow local food with sustainability in mind without the use of herbicides and pesticides.

We are proud to name Georgie's Pies as our vendor of the week for June 6th.
Georgie is a single mother of 2 girls and the owner of Georgie's Pies. She is an Island Roots market vendor at both our summer market and our indoor winter market and is a favorite for the regular customers.
Georgie makes each pie by hand in small batches, just the way her mother taught her.

Meet Zac Brown from Alderlea Wines. He is our vendor of the week for May 30th.
They are the producers of Plaid Wines and are from Duncan in the heart of the Cowichan Valley.
In the summer of 2017, Zac and Julie created the Plaid label with two offerings – Plaid White and Plaid Red which are perfect for sipping or pairing with west coast cuisine. Plaid Wines will soon be releasing their newest addition to the line up, Plaid Pink.
Look for it this summer at the Islands Roots Market at Beban Park in Nanaimo on Wednesdays from 4 - 6:30PM

Meet Sue McKinnon. She is our Island Roots Market Vendor of the Week for May 23rd.
Sue has been making her amazing sugar free jam line for over 15 years and at the age of 75 is showing no signs of slowing down!
Sue knows the importance of having a quality sugar free jam product from her years of experience as a nurse and extended family of diabetics. Her costumers return frequently to restock on her delicious jams and preserves. Sue's Preserves has made it to international destinations including the US and Japan.
